Who this policy covers

Winsaip publishes educational pages at https://winsaip.com. A legal operator is not named in the site configuration, so this policy does not invent one.

Information the pages ask for

The pages do not include an account system, a newsletter, a comment box, or a contact form. The connection builder asks you to choose a protocol, an authentication method, and a purpose. It does not ask for a password, a private key, an access token, or a server address. The error finder has a search box that filters text already on the page. The security checklist has checkboxes. Those choices are handled in the browser.

If you email [email protected], that mailbox receives the address you send from and whatever you write. Do not include passwords or private keys. The website does not store those messages in its own database. How long the mailbox keeps them has not been verified, so this policy does not state a retention period.

What the site code stores

The tools keep their state in memory for as long as the page is open. Reloading the page clears the checklist and the generated summary. The site code does not write localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB, and it does not set its own cookies. See the cookie policy for the limits of that statement.

Selections in the tools are not transmitted to a Winsaip server by the page scripts. Generating a summary or marking a checklist item does not create an account record, because there is no account database.

Analytics and advertising scripts

The site code does not load analytics, advertising, or social-media trackers. Fonts are files delivered with the site, not a request to a third-party font service.

Server logs

When the pages are hosted on a conventional web server or network service, that service may record standard access logs, such as IP address, date and time, the URL requested, a status code, and the browser’s user-agent string. Winsaip does not run a separate analytics store. The retention period for any host logs has not been verified, so this policy does not state one. A future host could be different. If a specific host is confirmed, this section should be updated with that host’s practice.

Referrer

Pages send a referrer policy of strict-origin-when-cross-origin. When you leave for another site, the browser is asked not to include the path of the Winsaip page you were on.

External sites

Some pages link to winscp.net, the site of the application’s developers. Those pages are not operated by Winsaip. If you follow a link, their privacy policy applies. The link is marked as leaving this site.

Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected]. There is no form that stores a request.
