Cookie policy
Last updated October 21, 2026.
What the site itself does
The HTML, CSS, and JavaScript shipped with Winsaip do not set cookies. They do not read cookies. They do not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB. The checklist, the comparison filters, the error search, and the connection summary exist only while the page is open.
There is no cookie banner, because the application does not ask you to accept a tracker. There is no analytics cookie and no advertising cookie in the page code.
What this policy cannot promise
A hosting company, a content-delivery network, a reverse proxy, or a browser extension can set a cookie even when the pages do not. That behavior is outside the files that make up this site, and it has not been measured against a specific production host. This policy therefore does not say “this website never involves a cookie under any network path.” It says the site’s own code does not create one.
If a later version adds a cookie, this page has to name it, say why it exists, and say how long it lasts. Until then, no such cookie is part of the design.
How to limit cookies generally
Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies should not change these pages, because they are not required for the tools to run. A private-browsing window also drops the in-memory checklist when you close it, which is already how the checklist works.
